Terms & Conditions
When you sign up for a Choose to Move class you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not sign up or participate in a class.
Group classes are not intended for rehabilitation. Please advise me prior to class if you have any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions which may interfere with your ability to perform exercises in class. You should always consult your doctor before undertaking any new form of exercise, including Pilates. I ask that whilst participating in a class that you work at your own pace and do not overdo it. I ask that when you feel discomfort or pain during an exercise that you stop immediately. If pain and discomfort continue, I ask that you see a medical professional and provide a medical clearance before returning to classes. 1:1 sessions are recommended for anyone with consistent injuries. Group classes may not be suitable.
Attending a class is done so at your own risk and you acknowledge that I, your instructor, will not be liable for any injury arising as a result of, or in connection with, your participation in class.
Personal Risk Assessment: Attending a Pilates class is done so at your own risk. Pilates classes involve physical exercise. Although generally low impact, you must assess your own physical health and fitness prior to commencement. If you are unsure of your ability to participate due to injury or illness, please provide clearance from your GP.
You must inform me if you have had any form of surgery in the past 8 weeks. It is advised to not attend a class before discussing with me first. I am not a trained medical professional therefore I am unable to assess if you are in good physical condition. Please seek medical advice prior to commencement if you have any doubt.
In order to ensure correct positioning and technique, you acknowledge that as your instructor, I may make physical contact with you by way of ‘palpating’ for corrective purposes.
Pregnant or Post Natal Clients: You must inform me prior to class, if you are pregnant or have recently given birth.
Classes are generally safe within the first trimester of pregnancy, however after this, modifications may be required for regular classes. Private sessions are also recommended.
If you have given birth within the past 6 weeks, please first discuss returning to exercise with your GP or midwife and then discuss with me prior to booking a class.
Prices and Booking: Prices and timetables are displayed on my website. Changes are made from time to time; however, you will be notified on my social media pages and website of such changes.
To participate in a class, you must book via my booking site prior to class start time. It is advised to create an account via this booking page to manage all current and future bookings. Class passes are not transferable and cannot be sold, gifted, shared or traded. Sales are final and will not be refunded due to illness, injury, change of mind or any other reason.
Class passes have a 3-month expiry date. If you have not used up all of your classes by the expiry date, those classes will expire, a refund will not be provided for any remaining unused classes.

Class Conditions: It is expected that those attending class do not behave offensively or in a manner that may make others around them feel uncomfortable or threatened. You will be asked to leave class if your behaviour is found to be unacceptable.
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to class to minimise disruption to others. If you are late, please enter the room quietly, take your place and join in without interruption. Unfortunately, I will be unable to ‘catch you up’ on any missed exercises. Please do your best to join in on the current exercise being performed.
Please do not bring friends or family to class as a spectator or participant unless a booking has been made for them and paid for prior to commencement of class.
Please always wear appropriate attire for performing physical exercise. Grip socks are highly recommended. Grip socks are available to purchase in class. Otherwise, barefoot is fine.
